Build with AI Bootcamp

Launch a Business Tool or App This Weekend

The Build with AI Bootcamp is a live online weekend intensive for non-technical business owners.

Over two days, our CTO Al Del Degan teaches you to build a working prototype of your own idea using AI tools, with the guardrails that keep it secure and buildable. No coding, no developer, no expensive mistakes.

You leave with a real prototype and a clear map of what comes next.

We host a weekend cohort every season: fall, winter, spring, and summer.

See what a student actually built

"I came in without an idea. All of this was done in a matter of a couple of hours with the New Idea Machine team."

Why guidance beats going it alone

"If there's one thing you definitely want when you come to this, maybe the one and only thing you're coming for, it's the guardrails."

A community, not just a course

"I feel like I have professional connections for life. I don't feel like I'm just another client or another student coming in."

Joe's experience

"If you'd have told me that I would walk out of that course having a prototype of an app built, I would have said you were crazy."

What's covered

Your instructor

Al Del Degan, CTO & Co-Founder, New Idea Machine. Al has built dozens of software applications for non-technical business owners. He has watched the same costly mistakes happen over and over. The guardrails framework in this course is what he developed so business owners can move fast without creating expensive problems. He explains everything in plain language: no jargon, no technical gatekeeping.

You have an idea. But you're not technical. Here's where most business owners get stuck.

  • You hire a developer before you know exactly what you're building. Scope creep starts immediately. A $20K project becomes $80K.
  • You try to build it yourself with no guardrails. It works, until it doesn't. Now no real developer can touch it.
  • You wait. You research. You do nothing. Your competition launches.

There's a better path. You can build a working prototype yourself, in a weekend, using tools that didn't exist two years ago. We'll show you exactly how. Safely.

A live weekend intensive. You leave with a working prototype you built yourself.

  • Two days live with Al Del Degan, CTO of New Idea Machine. Al teaches the guardrails framework and guides your build in real time.
  • You build in one of the most powerful AI tools available today. No coding required. If you can use a web browser, you can do this.
  • Al's guardrails framework, built into your prototype from day one. A set of rules and patterns that prevent the security gaps, dead-end architecture, and unmaintainable code that sink most self-built prototypes.
  • Post-weekend troubleshooting sessions with a New Idea Machine developer. For when you have questions as you keep building. Note: the developer is there to troubleshoot with you, not to build your application for you.
  • A clear path forward after the weekend. Know exactly what to build next and what to hand off to a developer when you're ready.

By end of weekend, you'll know how to build any of the following, and a lot more.

  • Web app prototypes. Dashboards, client portals, booking tools, SaaS MVPs, internal tools. If you can describe it, you can build it.
  • Fully deployed websites. Not a template. A real, publicly accessible website with actual functionality, live by end of weekend.
  • Data-connected tools. Customer trackers, intake forms, inventory tools, with connections to data sources on the Internet.
  • Professionally designed PDFs. Proposals, reports, lead magnets, client-facing documents, designed and generated without touching design software.

Two options. Pick the level of support you need.

Sign up for our next weekend cohort. We host one every season: fall, winter, spring, and summer. If you can't make the next one, we'll sign you up for the one after it instead. Your spot is never lost.

Find out if this bootcamp is right for you

Do I need to know how to code?

No. This is built for non-technical business owners. If you can use a web browser, you can build in Lovable. You will not write, edit, or review code at any point. Zero coding. Zero technical background required.

Who is this not for?

If you're a technical business owner or already have a developer on your team, this course isn't the right fit. It's built specifically for non-technical business owners who want to validate their idea and build a working prototype before spending serious money on development.

What will I actually build?

A working prototype of your specific idea, built live during the weekend intensive.

Will this give me a production-ready app?

No. This bootcamp teaches you how to build a prototype. Not a commercial-ready application. If you want to launch at scale, you will need a developer eventually. But a working prototype changes that conversation. You validate your idea before spending serious money. You show a developer exactly what you are building instead of trying to explain it from scratch. That alone can save you tens of thousands of dollars.

What happens after the weekend?

You leave with a working prototype and a clear picture of what comes next. That might mean continuing to build on your own using what you learned, using your prototype to get real customer feedback before spending money on development, or walking into a conversation with a developer and showing them exactly what you need instead of trying to describe it from scratch. The weekend gives you the prototype. It also gives you the map.

Is this just an AI tutorial?

No, and that distinction matters. Free AI tutorials are on YouTube. What you're paying for here is Al's guardrails framework, the rules and patterns baked into your build that prevent security gaps, dead-end architecture, and code no developer will ever be able to maintain or scale. That's the difference between a prototype that helps you and one that costs you.

What are guardrails?

Guardrails are a set of rules and patterns Al applies from day one. They keep your prototype clean, secure, and buildable. Without them, you risk code that works today but can't grow, security gaps you didn't know to look for, and a mess that a developer can't untangle later.

What about AI hallucinations and code bloat?

These are real risks when building with AI tools. The AI can confidently generate code that does not work. It can add unnecessary complexity that makes your project harder to manage over time. Al's guardrails framework is specifically designed to prevent this from happening.

Are these skills transferable to other AI tools?

Yes. The approach, the prompting patterns, the guardrails framework; all of it carries over to any AI-assisted building tool. The platform matters less than the thinking behind it.

Who owns my code? What are the risks of building on an AI platform?

Al covers this directly. There are real pros and cons to building and publishing a prototype inside an AI-assisted tool. Who owns the code, how it is hosted, what happens if you want to move it. You will know exactly how to set this up safely before you publish anything.

What if something breaks and I do not know why?

That is what the post-weekend developer sessions are for. You bring the problem. A New Idea Machine developer works through it with you. You do not have to figure it out alone.

What if I need help after my sessions are used?

You can purchase additional developer hours directly. Builder + Support participants get priority booking. No pressure to buy more. The option is there if you need it.

Build and/or test your prototype without spending $30K on a developer. Live online. One weekend. A working prototype and a framework to keep building safely.
